I got another 2 page spread done for the Cincinnati section of my baseball scrapbook. I am definately on a roll and enjoying every moment of making these pages. Well maybe not every moment but pretty darn close to it. I am hoping and planning on getting another two pages done tonight after work, but since my photo sorter didn't arrive yesterday like it was suppose to and was rescheduled for delivery today I'm hoping I get it early enough to get a bit of the sorting done and the another page at least some what done. We'll see ... I never know for sure until I'm there working on something.
The journalling on this page reads...
After sitting in traffic for an hour heading into Cincinnati we finally arrived and got checked into the Westin. While checking in we encountered several of the NY Mets players which was absolutely amazing. However, my curiosity got the best of me so we followed the crowds of people toward the river like a bunch of lemmings. Once by the river we were surprised to find out that there was going to be a fireworks show, which Cincinnati has every Labor Day weekend. So we decided to stick around and enjoy the incredible fireworks show.

Hi
I don't understand how you did this page. It is fantastic and I would like to do one like it.
Well done
Stella
Hi Stella,
I didn't know how to get back in touch with you to let you know how I made this page so I thought I would just comment back here and hope you got it and even if you didn't that hopefully my explanation would be helpful to others.
Anyway... how I made this page was to take the fireworks pictures I had taken in Cincinnati on Labor Day and cut them all into ovals using the Creative Memories cutting system. I should have used the SU Cuzzle but I find sometimes the other cutting system is easier for me to use. Anyway... I cut them all into ovals and then layed them all out overlapping and underlapping them here and there until the whole page was covered. I had a pic of my hubby watching the fireworks so I put that in the middle on one page much to his dismay and then an oval of SU Basic Black cardstock on the other page. I then wrote my journalling in silver marker on the SU Basic Black cardstock. Then I carefully lifted each picture to apply the adhesive and attach them all down. Once I got them all attached down I used the SU star punches to punch some stars and my xyron machine to get them sticky and dipped them into my different SU glitters and embossing powders to get them to sparkle. I then attached them down with adhesive as well. It was a pretty easy page to do. The most difficult part was to attach everything down once I had it laid out exactly how I wanted since I'm really picky.
Hi Faye it all becomes clear to me now. Thank you so much for such a comprehesive explanation. I thought you had applied glitter all over the page!!! silly me,
Thanks again Faye. Ny the weay i live in the UK!
Nope it's not glitter though that would have been really cool if the fireworks were made with glitter. I'm not sure I'm that talented though. Glad I could be of help in explaining how I made the page.
