Christmas Scrapbook Page

Here is a scrapbook page I made for an online yahoo/msn craft group I belong to. I hope you enjoy the page. The initial idea was obtained from SCS but I ended up changing the design slightly.

All products are Stampin' Up. I used Season of Joy stamp set, real red, old olive, whisper white card stock and dashing designer paper, Pewter hardware, and the ticket corner punch and 1 1/4 circle punch. I can't remember the name of the other corner punch. I used old olive organza ribbon and real red gingham. And of course the SU Markers, classic ink - Real Red & Old Olive.

IT'S HERE!!!

I received my new free Spring/Summer 2008 Collection Catalog and it's amazing. I can't barely wait until January 3rd to be able to order some things. I can't believe how many of the items are so very me!!! There are still quite a few that aren't but even those I can make work and have grown fond of just because they're so versatile. Now for the order to arrive with all the catalogs for my customers so I can share the wonderful new items with them. I know they're going to be just as excited as me. :)

MAP CHALLENGE # 1

For the first map challenge of many monthly challenges I'm going to post I am going to give everyone alittle bit of freedom. I have attached a map that I think could easily be used as a scrapbook page or card so for this challenge you can do just that make a card or scrapbook page. There is no size restrictions on the card or scrapbook page, the only restriction is that it has to follow the map. Submissions can use any brand products although Stampin' Up products are preferred since I'm a Stampin' Up Demonstrator and would like to be able to use pictures of the samples to create cards for workshops and swaps in the future.

She has used several of the following SU products:
Stamps: Wondeful Words
Paper: Close to Cocoa, Mellow Moss, Regal Rose, Very Vanilla Textured cardstock
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa, Regal Rose
Accessories: SU Punches, Soft Subtles brads


The deadline for submitting your own designs using the map is December 31st. Please email all submissions to fayem.mitchell@gmail.com with the "MAP CHALLENGE 1" in the subject line. Everyone who submits a design using the above map will have their name entered into a paint can and my husband will draw the name out for the winner on January 1st. A blog with the picture of the winning submission & copyright info will be posted within the first week after the winner is notified.

The price for this first challenge will be a set of 5 birthday & 5 thank you cards using the new Bali Breeze Designer Series paper from the Stampin' Up Spring/Summer Preview Catalog.

Now go get creative but don't forget to get your pictures to me by December 31st so you can be entered to win the lovely set of 10 cards with the new paper. I will post a blog with a picture of the cards in the next couple of days.

Stamp Sets: December 1, 2007 through January 1, 2008
Our first semiannual retired stamp set list is here just in time for the holidays! Contact your demonstrator today t purchase your favorite retiring sets as a gift to yourself or someone else on your list today before they're gone forever. If you don't already have a demonstrator, locate one in your area.

Retiring Stamps Details
The retired list includes stamp sets that will retire as of January 1, 2008.
There is no limit to the number of retired stamps you can purchase.

Retiring Wheels and Accessories Details
Contact your demonstrator for details about retiring wheels and accessories.

Dormant List Details:
The Dormant List contains stamp sets that, while they have not been retired, will not be listed in the Spring/Summer Collection 2008. These sets are available for purchase from January 2, 2007 through June 30, 2008 and may or may not be listed again in future catalogs. Items from the Holiday Mini will not appear on the dormant list, but they are not retired.
Stamp sets and wheels from mini catalogs will not be included on the dormant list.
