February Technique Class - 2007

I made these items at my February Techniques class. I ended up giving the sparkle card above to my niece for her birthday since she's a girly girl, or at least tries to be when she's not having too much fun being a trouble-maker. I love the second card and will definitely case it with different stamps. I think maybe snowflakes would look really great with this technique.

More Sympathy Cards - April 2007

I made several of this cards to stock up on some sympathy cards since it seems like the events requiring such cards come in batches and I would hate not to have an appropriate card on hand to express my deepest sympathy.

I cased this card from another SCS user so I would have some birthday cards for little boys. I tend to have alot of girly cards on hand but never any masculine or little boy cards, so I made several of this one just to have some on hand.

I made this card for a RAK request. A little girl who is an avid soccer player had recently been diagnosed with cancer and the family was having a hard time with everything, so I sent this card out to help add some cheer to a depressing situation.

I made this card for my boss when he lost his father-in-law. It is basically cased from the 2006-2007 Big Catalog & Idea Book, though I changed the colors to better suit my likes.

Alphabet Soup Birthdays - March 2007

I made several of these cards for upcoming birthdays. I love the Alphabet Soup and Alphabet Stew stamp sets. At the time I made these cards all I owned was Alphabet Soup, but since then I have also bought Alphabet Stew. I plan on making a lot more cards using these two sets in the near future. I also love the Au Chocolat Designer Paper SU had in the spring mini, and am terribly disappointed by the fact it didn't make it into the new 2007 Idea Book.

Lots of Changes

I have made quite a few changes to the layout of my page and will be making more as I figure some of the tricks out. There will also be a lot of new posts coming soon with the latest designs and some of my past stamped designs as well. I'm going to try to make them more user friendly with recipes and dimensions and everything. I'm even going to try to put up some tutorials. Anyone with pointers please let me know because I'll probably need some help.

Sorry

I am so sorry that I haven't posted more to my blog. I do plan to start posting more regularly again very soon. Right now things are a bit hectic. I will spare you all the details.

My goal between now and then end of July, I was going to say June but that isn't really realistic... anyway... the end of July is to get my current blog enteries updated with the copyrighted photos, and to start posting new blogs with my newly designed cards. I have several that have been created for a while and I haven't taken the time to post them. This is the plan. I also plan on offering different blog events and tutorials. We'll see how it all goes. Hopefully things will work out in the long run.

Back to work I go. ... I'll try to post or work on updating the blog very soon.
